A high-performance enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) designed for the qualitative detection of Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) in human serum or plasma. Utilizes high-affinity monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies in a sandwich format to ensure outstanding sensitivity and early-stage screening reliability.
Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) is the key serological marker for identifying acute or chronic Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) infection. It is the first antigen to appear in blood following exposure and is crucial for early detection, monitoring disease chronicity, and managing infectivity risks.
The Genlisa™ HBsAg ELISA Kit is a solid-phase sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microplate wells are pre-coated with high-affinity monoclonal antibodies specific for HBsAg. During incubation, HBsAg in the specimen binds to the coated antibodies.
After washing, HRP-conjugated polyclonal anti-HBs antibodies are added, binding to the captured HBsAg. The subsequent enzymatic reaction yields a colorimetric signal proportional to the antigen concentration, read spectrophotometrically at 450nm.
Advanced molecular diagnostic capabilities engineered for clinical excellence and research-grade precision.
Utilizes high-affinity monoclonal antibodies for capture and polyclonal antibodies for detection to maximize sensitivity.
Clinical evaluations show 100% sensitivity and 99.7% specificity, ensuring safety in screening.
Engineered to detect low levels of circulating HBsAg during early acute infection stages.
Incubation protocol (~120 min total) fits standard lab routines and automated processors.
Validated with human serum and common anticoagulated plasma samples (EDTA, Heparin, Citrate).
Manufactured under international medical device quality systems, ensuring lot-to-lot consistency.
Designed for diverse diagnostic and research use cases across the clinical spectrum.
Routine screening of blood and plasma donations to prevent transfusion-transmitted HBV.
Screening of individuals presenting with acute or chronic liver disease symptoms.
Screening pregnant women to identify HBsAg status and manage neonatal transmission risk.
Tracking Hepatitis B prevalence and vaccine response efficacy in target populations.
