GENPLEX™ZIKA Virus Qualitative Singleplex RTPCR Virus Detection Kit is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification assay for the qualitative detection of Zika Virus RNA in human serum or plasma (EDTA) from Zika Virus infected individual specimens using Real Time PCR System. This kit is based on one-step real time reverse transcription PCR assay in which RNA templates are first reverse transcribed to generate complementary cDNA strands followed by DNA polymerase-mediated cDNA amplification. In this kit there is a multiplexing reactions running in parallel in single tubes: the first detects Zika virus in HEX channel & second detects Internal Control (IC) in Texas Red Channel which allows excluding unreliable results.
