GENPLEX™HIV1/2 Virus Quantitative Singleplex RTPCR Kit,HIV 1/2 Detection Kit is an in vitro Single step nucleic acid amplification assay for the qualitative detection and differentiation of Human Immunodeficiency type-1 (HIV-1) & type-2 viral RNA in human serum or plasma (EDTA) from HIV infected individual specimens using Real Time PCR System. GENPLEX™ 1/2 Detection Kit is based on amplification of two conserved regions by primer and probes specific for HIV type-1 & type-2. In this kit there are three independent reactions are running in parallel in the same tube: the first detects HIV type-1 in FAM/Green channel, second detects HIV type-2 in HEX/VIC/Yellow channel and third detects endogenous internal control (IC) in Texas Red/ROX/Orange channel which allows excluding unreliable results.
